Freeman Field
Since it's completion in 1987, Freeman Field at the Louisa County Industrial Airpark provides local air service and has undergone many improvements including expanding the runway to 4300 feet long and 100 feet wide.
The airport is equipped with a localizer and a constant current lighting system to allow pilot controlled activation. Five aviation-related businesses and 55 aircraft are based at the facility.
There are approximately 46 hangars now located at the airport and space for more to be added.
